Alvarez has won championships at middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight, most recently scoring an eighth-round stoppage of Billy Joe Saunders. Plant (21-0, 12 KO) has become a rising star in recent years, winning his IBF championship in January 2019 against Jose Uzcategui.
